Who is Kando?

What are payment terms?

Kando offers payment terms as fast as net 3 depending on the circumstance. One of the fastest in the industry!

Who should apply as a Vendor?

General Labor & Handyman with crews, including:

Painters
Cleaners
Landscape
Flooring
Drywall
Carpentry
Pools/Pool Maintenance
General Contractors

Licensed Specialty Trades, including:

Heating & Cooling (HVAC)
Plumbers
Electrical
Roofers

What is required to become a vendor?

Becoming a vendor is a fast and easy process. Kando vendors are required to have the following:

General liability insurance
Workers compensation insurance
Experience in residential remodeling or rehab required
Active / Current Trade License
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Your own tools for the job

Kando vendors are required to submit the following documents to get certified:

Completed IRS Form W9
Completed Certificate of Insurance (COI) – Kando MUST be added as an additional insured on the policy and listed as a certificate holder.
State licenses and/or certificates of competency

Do I need to be licensed?

All general contractors and certain specialty trades, including plumbers, electricians, mechanical (HVAC), and roofers MUST be licensed to work with us.
Other trades, such as cleaners, landscapers and painters may not need to be licensed

How do I become a vendor?

Please fill out the vendor application here (link). Your application will be reviewed in 7-10 days and a representative will reach for follow up.

I have been on-boarded as a vendor. How do I receive work?

Once you are on-boarded as a vendor, you will get added to our list of vendors in compliance. Our production teams work with many variables to determine when/where to assign work.

How do I get more work?

If you are currently receiving work and feel you can handle more, please reach out to the Project Manager you are working with to discuss new opportunities.

Who determines the scope of work?

Our project managers compile a detailed scope of work which is approved by our client.

What info is needed on my invoices?

Invoice Format Requirements
Invoices must be addressed to KANDO.
Each invoice needs to have a unique invoice number.
The invoice must have an invoice date.
The invoice must have the vendors name and address as shown on their w9 and insurance certificate.
The invoice must have the job service address. (For multifamily it must also list the specific unit #)
At a minimum the invoice must list a short description of the service rendered. (ie. roof replace, plumbing repairs, full scope, etc.)
The invoice must be in a PDF format.

How do I handle a Change Order?

If a change order item comes up during a project, make sure to get photos and reach out to your Project Manager ASAP for direction. If additional funds are approved, a new invoice will need to be submitted for the new amount.

What types of tools am I required to have?

As a Kando vendor, you will need to have any and all tools necessary to carry out the contracted job.
